If this attack hits, you strike for +1-24 damage. If Irresistable Blow is "blocked",your target is knocked down and takes 24 damage. Irresistable Blow cannot be "evaded".

My question is why did Anet decide to fix this "bug" now? Prophecies has been out for more than 1 year... Today warriors have many sets of armor (esp. those with FoW, 15k sets) and this update has made most of our previous armor decision making completely useless.

^ I love this idea. Or, Anet could refund our materials and gold..
I doubt it'll happen, but we can wish..

I don't understand most of you. If you purchased one item of Knights armor for use of an exploit then you deserve what you got.

1 Armor was always meant to be used in sets. [FACT]
2 Only recently was ANET able to show an ability to change accounts Globally. [Appearance of FACT]
3 I do not feel sorry for people who would spend over 250k on one armor piece and still depend on an exploit. I you could afford it then you can afford it again. Unless of course you used EBAY to make that much Guild Wars Gold; in which case I don't feel sorry for you one bit.

I don't care if the exploit took a year or one hour to FIX.. It was what it was now deal with the consequences of the FIX.

Yeah this whole mess is the fault of both sides....not just from one or the other.

Anet should have fixed this bug a long long time ago. And yes it was a bug. Most other armors didnt have global effects so why should this have it? And why have a full set when all you needed were the boots? It clearly wasnt intended the way it was.

So everyone who took advantage of this were taking a gamble. It was an advantage that shouldnt have existed in the first place. And it's been expected for a long time that it would get fixed...so it really shouldnt have been a surprise.

But yeah, it was crappy of ANET to wait so long to fix it after so many people have wasted their money. But the fault isnt entirely ANET's....all of you are to blame also.

Considering a majority of the GW population is/has a warrior I know why this is a big deal.

I have never liked warriors, they're over used and take no skill to use to be effective. I'm glad they're getting a downgrade.

warriors are tha backbone of a team. Would you rather have rangers take all the damage while their trying to interrupt? no. We take all the damage so you dont have to. /signed

you know what how many warriors out there expoit dolyak, watchyourself to take 0 damage farming.
This resistance was almost equilly strong vs elemental damage as well.
I think it was a great idea.

This is going to make +10 armour sheilds skyrocket.

Good job on this one.

Now make some improvments to the assassin.lol

A long time ago, in a land far away (Tyria), the elementalists had an armor that protected them against all the elements, and it was good. Then anet came along and took it away! <gasp> Did the elementalists moan and whine and strike? Hell no!

Warriors, quit yer bitching and get on with it.

Fear nothing, it's just a game!

I have a warrior, who's had full gladiator armour, and a shield with 30hp and a condition recovery shield for yonks. So for my warrior, this does sweet fanny adams.

If you're any good as a warrior, you will adapt.

Interestingly, this actually buffs assassins in a way-now they have only 10 less armour that a warrior against ele damage.

Watch Yourself, Dolyak Signet, Defy Pain, Defensive Stance.

all give armor vs anything. Use those if you feel 'squishy'.

This is not about being a good war or a bad war. I know many wars in top 50 guilds that are not liking this and considering removing wars completely from the build. Removing a war from the build would open up many skill slots on the team that were used for war support.

MM got nerfed but it wasn't really a nerf. They were EXTREMELY overpowered to begin with. Fiends deal on avg 25 dmg each every 2 seconds. 10 minions is 250 dmg every 2 seconds. That's rouchly half of every monster's life in the game. Before you could have 30 minions easy resulting in 750 dmg every 2 seconds. That was done for balance. They are still very strong and welcome in most parties. Even when the nerf happened they where still being picked up by parties left and right. This was also a balance for PvE only as minions won't see the light of day in real PvP.

Eles got the nuking nerf but had other options of skills to us. Tell me what option is a war given for this change. There is none. A wars skill bar is so crowded that it would take nearly his entire bar trying to fit in enough skills so he can do his job. Where does that leave your energy at? What about the long recharges on stances? Thumpers can use renewing smash with Whirling Def and be vurnerable for just a few seconds. Wars don't have options like this.

This change has completely altered the way the game is going to be played. There is nothing to fear from wars now. Drop 1 of their support teammates then drop the war. If you have enough offense and are have the guts drop the war first. The reason the war was left for last is because he is so easy to shut down without that support he can't do anything. With the support he is a wrecking ball. Now you can kill them immediatly turning that wrecking ball into a whiffle ball.

I foresee more thumpers and assassins being ran in their place. If a warrior is used it will be for general use skills like charge.

If these top 50 guild warriors had the slightest clue what they were talking about, they would realize that a warriors ability to take damage is relatively unimportant. Warriors are in builds to deal damage, not to tank damage. Warriors still have vastly more armor than any other class and are still more suited for the front lines than anyone else. Why on earth do you think people brought hammer warriors with frenzy into serious GvG? They certainly didn't do it to watch a character with less effective armor than anyone else out there tank damage.

Yeah right...
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...etition+minion
And same thing probably happened on other forums..

leprekan: Final Thrust? And just did 114 dmg with Galrath Slash and Eviscerate, and im not even counting the Deep Wound.
And just because you had 2000hours on your Warrior, then it does not mean you are right about what you're saying about warriors. I have played Warrior for like 2 hours(PVP!!) and i still got support on my opinions about warriors.

Well, yes, they did whine, but only for about 8 pages. This has gone on for 16 and doesn't show any sign of slowing down.
